I was slow in getting my web pages up this year.

I’ve made a Virtual Tour of the Iditarod because I didn’t’ have time to follow it in real time. If you missed all or part of the Iditarod or know someone that wasn’t able to follow it they can go to a couple of my pages.

I followed the race leaders (top 5 or 10) through the report of Lance Mackey’s leaving White Mountain. I will try and complete it through the top 20 later this week. I also made notes of the “Red Lantern” (person in last place) and those that scratched.

10-4 - I was able to see Lance come in. It was the best view of a finish that I've had thanks to BSSD.

http://www.iditablog.com/live.php At first they only played music so I wasn't sure if I'd missed the finish or not, but eventually they started talking and it was obvious the Lance was about to arrive. The video was like a series of web cam pictures updated every 2 or 3 seconds which appeared almost like a movie. I was trying to juggle TV programs with the Iditarod and I missed Hans' and Jeff's arrival. Currently the above sites don't seem to be live so I'm not sure if any other finishes will be shown or not.

Anyway thanks for providing all these great links. I'll check out the Nome Finish Line thread.
